Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an NSTPA account, purchasing a course, or otherwise using nstpa.com, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Your account

You are responsible for your account: keep your login credentials secure, provide accurate information (your certificate and public verification listing are generated from it), and do not share your login. Accounts are for one person. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase a course.

Course license

Your enrollment grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access the course materials for your own professional education. You may not share, record, redistribute, resell, or publish course content — including videos, lesson text, downloads, and exam questions — in any form.

Payment

Course fees are one-time charges in U.S. dollars, processed securely by Authorize.Net. NSTPA never sees or stores your full card number. Prices may change, but a price change never affects a purchase you have already made.

Refunds

You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase by emailing support@nstpa.com with your order number. Purchases are non-refundable after 30 days. Full details are in our Refund Policy at nstpa.com/refund-policy.

A refund revokes your certification

This matters, so we say it plainly: if your purchase is refunded, any certification earned from that purchase is permanently revoked, and your listing is removed from the public certification database and verification search. This happens automatically and cannot be undone. You cannot keep the credential and the money.

Your certification

You earn NSTPA certification by completing the required lessons and passing the final exam with a score of 80% or higher. Your certification does not expire, and anyone can verify it using your Certification ID at nstpa.com/verify. NSTPA certification is a professional education credential. It does not replace any state, county, city, or local licensing requirements that may apply in your area.

When NSTPA may revoke a certification

We may revoke a certification if: the purchase is refunded or the payment is reversed; the exam was completed fraudulently or by someone other than the account holder; the account or credentials were shared; or the certification is misrepresented (for example, claiming it is a government license). A revoked certification shows as revoked in public verification.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site; scrape or harvest data; post false reviews; or use the site for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual property

All course content, videos, text, graphics, certificate designs, and the NSTPA name and logo are owned by NSTPA or its licensors. Your course license does not transfer any ownership to you.

Disclaimers

Courses and the site are provided as-is. We work hard to keep everything accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and completing a course is not a guarantee of business results or income.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NSTPA’s total liability for any claim related to the site or a course is limited to the amount you paid us, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
